EVC2023 will be a new and refreshing experience! Everyone will compete, stay, eat, and have fun in our own Table Tennis Town. We offer accommodation including breakfast, lunch, and dinner at reasonable prices, just steps away from the playing halls. Make sure to book your stay at Oslofjord Convention Center! This time you don’t need to spend time on bus transport, or on searching for your friend. We will all be here!
One Village - One Venue means that we all live at the same place. And we only offer full board accommodation at Oslofjord Convention Center, in our Table Tennis Town. We bring the city to the hall, and make sure that you have a good time the whole week. There will be activities, beach, small concerts, shops, restaurants, bars and more, located in a small area. You will get the feeling of an “Olympic village”, and you can walk between your room, the playing halls, and all the activities.
All meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the price. In a twin room you will get full board at NOK 1424,- per person. (In October 2022 this is 137 €, due to the current exchange rate.) If you are on a budget, you can lower the cost by booking a room for three or even four persons. The restaurants will have different concepts and a new menu every day! The opening hours will be long, to make sure that you will be able to eat before or after your matches of the day. For breakfast you may pick up fresh rolls and bread every day, adding to your breakfast package including cheese, cold cuts, jam, eggs, juice, coffee, tea, and more. For your in-between meals, we will have small cafés, food trucks and bars. You can even go to our own minimarket.
At Oslofjord Convention Center you will find comfortable accommodation in apartments in 10 longhouses and two tower buildings. All apartments have large windows and a beautiful terrace or balcony. They have a modern look and are fully equipped for your stay. The twin rooms will have two separate beds in the bedroom. The rooms for 3-4 persons will even have bunk beds. Please note when booking that the top bunk bed might be difficult to access for some people. If you book for more than 4 persons in a room, there will be a sofa bed in the living room. Twin and triple rooms are the best combinations of price and comfort.
The apartments offer:
There will be social events every night, with no extra entrance fee. We will of course have the traditional opening ceremony and the Oslofjord Farewell Party, but we will even include other events during the week. Visit the beach club, listen to the DJ, and enjoy the long, light summer nights in Norway! Even during daytime, you may experience different small events, including concerts, DJ’s and shopping, together with activities like beach volleyball, 5-a-side football, outdoor table tennis, seminars and talks, - or just relaxing at the beach! And of course, it will always be possible to jump on the shuttle bus to the nearby city if you want a break from our fantastic Table Tennis Town.
